Super 8™ App Reviews

It seems to be a cool app, but it crashes everytime I try and developed the film. Please fix! I would love to be able to actually use this.

Every time I want to develop, it either crashes or it completes developing but it never truly develops. If that problem were solved, this app would be a lot better.

But crash!!! Please fix!

Ive have some great fun with the Super 8 app. I guess what it boils down to is; Am I happy I spent .99 cents on the app? Yes, I am 100% happy with my purchase and love making movies with Super 8. The nostalgia makes me wish real Super 8 cameras and film were still readily available.

Brings to life all the fun of a Super 8! Get it!

All it needs is a cut and splice feature now. Like the Mansfield film splicer tool. Please make it so!

It crashes and will not develop long videos (more than 2 min) And cant view video before developing. Fix this and you will have a great app. Oh and add an option to remove sound.

I cannot develop my film. As soon as I hit develop, my screen immediately goes back to all my other apps. Frustrating! I love the app but what good is it of I cannot develop my film? I hope it gets fixed, this app is seriously one of my top reasons for getting my iPhone. Im disappointed its not and has not worked since I got it close to 6 months ago. I will give 5 stars when I am able to develop.

Difficult to export clips. Poor support.

This APP worked ok but had a couple of problems in the beginning, had to delete and reinstall. Took me a bit of time to figure out how to change lens but I got it working and it is very cool, looks and sounds like the old Super 8 we had as a kid.

I have to say that customer support gets back with you ASAP. The app does save to the camera roll.. You just have to develop the film... Yay!! The app growing seems to have slightly subsided.. It grows but not as much.. But the Twitter annoyance is still there.. Oy vey.. I dont want to sync to Twitter!!! So I can actually use the app now..but the Twitter prompt 3-5 times in one use is still annoying!!!

Any tips on figuring out how to use it I dont wanna to be a waste of money! I bought it and I dont use it because of that!

Pretty much a buggy disappointment that I will keep in the hope of a fix soon. The Twitter messages are annoying but when it just locks up for no reason then it is really worthless. Even if everything worked, the flow of control is choppy. Needs a good bit of work to be what it claims to be. Please update soon.... this could be fun if it worked.

Awesome App…..no problems at all.

This is one of the best video camera apps for a retro look, but if you have clips that you want to use in a different film your only option is to share it and then delete it. Once deleted you cant get it back into the app. So if you accumulate a bunch of clips and want to make a movie, but want to save a few for a different movie bc they dont fit this current one, you will not have that option. Also, no way to import videos, which is fine, but it would help get around this issue.

From what i can tell this app was designed just to sell some movie. The fake dust and scratches look so bad and make this camera unusable. Not a good tool.

This is probably the worst app ever. Difficult to operate and navigate. Its also extremely buggy. I give it 5 craps  Please ignore the 1 star.

Classic, nostalgic film app that recreates the gorgeous super 8 camera look and feel. The shutter noise is great but can be turned off in your idevices settings.

This is really an amazing little app. Lots of great little nuances.... Love the projection screen and the ability to make credits. To be honest, i was a bit hesitant because of the movie tie in (the movie kind of blows). The app is a keeper. Try it... For 99c youll love it.
